The San Antonio Stars (7-6) are on a roll. They’ve won three in a row and look to continue their winning streak against the Washington Mystics (5-9) on Tuesday afternoon at the AT&T Center. The Stars are coming off a road win against the Los Angeles Sparks while the Mystics are coming off a OT loss against the Seattle Storm. The Stars are 3-3 at home this season while the Mystics are 2-4 on the road.
Here are three things to look for:
1) Danielle Robinson – Can she do it again? She’s been brilliant for the Stars and the reason San Antonio edged out the Sparks on Sunday. If she continues her strong play, the Stars will win the game.
2) How bad do they want it? – The Washington Mystics are coming off of four straight losses. They will be determined to break that streak and the Stars have to be ready for it.
3) Sophia Young – Malcolm – She is not herself yet. The Stars will need Young-Malcolm to be effective and this might be the game in which she turns it around.
The Stars and Mystics will tip off at 11:30 am local time at the AT&T Center. This is at a special time because the Stars are going to be hosting a lot of campers for the WNBA’s annual Camp Day.
Check back after the game for Stephen Anderson’s post game report.
